Overview

Strut clamps secure pipe to a strut-channel framing system. The clamp halves wrap the tube and bolt down to a channel nut seated in the strut. The copper-plated (Copper Gard) finish matches copper tube to prevent the galvanic corrosion that occurs when bare steel contacts copper.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why use a copper-plated strut clamp?

Bare steel against copper tube causes galvanic corrosion. A copper-plated (Copper Gard) clamp matches the tube and eliminates that reaction at the support point.

Is it sized for copper tube?

Yes — it is sized to CTS (copper tube size). Select the size that matches your copper tube.
