Solution 17 is a medium-strength, single-component anaerobic blue threadlocker formulated to be oil-resistant – it tolerates light oil contamination on the threads where standard grades can struggle to cure. It is less runny than conventional blue threadlockers and is intended for fasteners up to 3/4 inch. As a medium-strength grade, treated fasteners still back out with ordinary hand tools.
Supplied as a blue liquid; removable with standard hand tools. Available in 10 ml, 50 ml, and 250 ml bottles for bench and field work.
