Apollo 36 Series pressure reducing valves (PRVs) are factory-tested, ASSE 1003 certified devices designed to reduce incoming water pressure to a safe, preset downstream level. Used in commercial plumbing, residential buildings, and institutional facilities, Apollo PRVs protect downstream piping, fixtures, and equipment from high-pressure damage. PVFPro stocks the full 36 Series line including union FNPT, press-fit, solder, and the 36ELF lead-free direct-acting model.
36 Series Models
- 36-100 Series — Direct-acting PRV with union FNPT connections. Multiple factory-set pressure ranges. Bronze body, ASSE 1003 certified. 1/2" – 1-1/2".
- 36-200 Series — Direct-acting PRV with FNPT and press-fit ends. Adjustable setpoint. 1/2" – 1-1/2".
- 36-300 Series — Solder-end connections. For copper pipe installations where threaded connections are not preferred.
- 36C Compact Series — Space-saving compact design for tight installations. FNPT ends. 1/2" – 3/4".
- 36ELF Series — Lead-free direct-acting PRV with ApolloPress® and FNPT ends. NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 certified for lead-free potable water compliance. TracPac design for field pressure adjustment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What pressure does the 36 Series reduce to?
Apollo 36 Series PRVs are available in multiple factory-set pressure ranges. The adjustable models allow field adjustment within the valve's rated range. Standard setpoints range from approximately 25–75 psi depending on the model selected.
Do I need a PRV if my incoming pressure is above 80 psi?
Most plumbing codes require a PRV when service pressure exceeds 80 psi. High pressure damages plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and appliances and increases leak risk. A PRV protects the entire downstream system.
