These 7" x 7" x 1/8" fire-rated intumescent putty pads are designed to seal around electrical boxes in fire-rated wall assemblies to help maintain required hourly fire resistance ratings.
When exposed to high temperatures, the intumescent material expands to restrict the passage of flame, smoke, and toxic gases through electrical box openings.
UL Classified for use in 1-hour and 2-hour gypsum fire-rated wall systems.
