Everkem WS-1 intumescent firestop wrap strip is designed for plastic and insulated pipe penetrations in rated wall and floor assemblies. When exposed to high temperatures, the material expands to form a dense char that helps restrict the passage of flame, smoke, and hot gases.

Commonly used in commercial, institutional, and multi-family construction to maintain fire-resistance ratings around PVC, CPVC, ABS, and other combustible piping systems.
