Everkem Intumescent Firestop Pipe Collar – 4 Inch

Everkem Intumescent Firestop Pipe Collars are designed to maintain the integrity of fire-rated floor and wall assemblies when penetrated by plastic piping systems.

Each collar consists of a heavy-gauge steel housing containing a high-expansion intumescent material that activates in the presence of heat. In a fire event, the intumescent insert expands to crush and seal combustible plastic pipe, preventing the passage of flame and smoke.

The 4 inch collar is intended for use with nominal 4" plastic pipe penetrations in approved fire-rated assemblies.
