Everkem Intumescent Fire-Rated Putty Pads are designed to seal electrical outlet and switch boxes in fire-rated gypsum wall assemblies, helping restore the integrity of fire-resistance-rated walls.

Measuring 7" x 7" x 1/8", these UL Classified putty pads are tested to ASTM E90 standards and help maintain up to a 2-hour fire rating when installed in approved wall systems.

The non-curing, moldable intumescent material expands when exposed to high temperatures, effectively blocking flame, smoke, and hot gases while also supporting up to a 60 STC sound rating.
