The most common way to hang horizontal pipe. The adjustable clevis hanger cradles the pipe in a two-piece clevis that bolts closed and hangs from a threaded rod — the standard choice for supporting horizontal pipe runs from the structure above. Type-316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance.
- Two-piece clevis cradles the pipe and bolts closed
- Hangs from threaded hanger rod (3/8" typical)
- Vertical adjustment at the rod for precise alignment
- Type-316 stainless steel for chloride, marine, and chemical environments
- Manufactured to MSS SP-58 pipe support standards
✔ Used by contractors and professionals
✔ Designed for reliable jobsite performance
Overview
The adjustable clevis hanger is the workhorse of horizontal pipe support. The pipe sits in the lower strap, the upper clevis bolts over it, and the assembly hangs from a threaded rod anchored to the structure above. The cross bolt allows vertical adjustment after installation. Type-316 stainless steel adds molybdenum for superior resistance to chlorides and aggressive chemicals.
