1/2" 316L Stainless Steel Female Connector — Double Ferrule Compression Fitting
The 6L-FC-FT08-NF08 is a 316L stainless steel double ferrule compression tube fitting designed for high-pressure, high-purity instrumentation and process systems. The double ferrule design provides a leak-tight, vibration-resistant seal without welding or flaring — suitable for pressures up to 6,000 PSI on 1/4" through 1/2" sizes.
How it works: Hand-tighten the nut, then advance 1-1/4 turns. The front ferrule creates the primary seal against the tube OD; the back ferrule grips and supports the tube to resist vibration and pull-out. No special tools required for initial installation. Fittings are reusable — the assembly can be disconnected and remade multiple times.
Why 316L stainless steel: Superior corrosion resistance in harsh chemical, saltwater, and high-temperature environments. 316L (low carbon) minimizes carbide precipitation during welding and heat exposure, maintaining corrosion resistance across the full temperature range of -65°F to 1200°F.
